Jelena Čanković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Јелена Чанковић , born August 13, 1995 in Batajnica , Zemun , BR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian national soccer player.

Career

Čanković started her career in the youth of ŽFK Batajnica before moving to ŽFK Spartak Subotica in 2009 . In summer 2011, she moved up to the first team of the Spartak Subotica at the age of 16 and made her senior debut in the UEFA Women's Champions League against Glasgow City LFC on August 11, 2011 . Despite her young age, she developed into a high performer and became a top scorer in the 2011/2012 season. <In her second season she was able to build on her previous year's performance and was observed by several European clubs, which gave her a trial training on July 17, 2013 at FC Barcelona . There she was able to convince the coach Xavi Llorens and left her club ŽFK Spartak Subotica on August 12, 2013, for the Superliga Feminina club FC Barcelona.
