Jelena Nikolajewna Jaschkina ( Russian Елена Николаевна Яшкина ; born February 21, 1983 ) is a Russian biathlete .

Jelena Jaschkina made her first international appearances at the 2011 IBU Summer Cup in Haanja . In the sprint she missed victory with three shooting errors as second place behind Kadri Lehtla , in the pursuit race based on it she worsened with nine errors to third place behind Lehtla and Vladimíra Točeková . She also took part successfully at the second competition station in Osrblie . In the sprint race she reached the podium again in third place behind Anastasiya Kuzmina and Točeková. With three podium finishes in four races, Jaschkina after Točeková, who came on the podium in all four races, was the most successful participant in the racing series.
