Jelka Ređep

Jelka Ređep in Serbian Јелка Ређеп (born April 27, 1936 in Novi Sad , Kingdom of Yugoslavia , † December 19, 2014 in Novi Sad, Serbia ) was a Serbian literary scholar. Her main topic was the comparative analysis of medieval literature and oral folk poetry in the southern Slavic Deseterac such as the Bugarštice, as well as their mutual influence.

Career

Jelka Ređep grew up in Novi Sad. She studies Yugoslav literature and Yugoslav languages ​​at the Philosophical University in Novi Sad.
