The Jenaplan-Schule Jena is a state elementary and regular school with a gymnasium upper level ( community school ). Your school concept is based on Peter Petersen's “ Jenaplan ” . The curricula of the state of Thuringia determine the teaching work and its content. In 2006, the Jenaplan School Jena was awarded the German School Prize of the Robert Bosch Foundation .

The Jenaplan School Jena was founded in September 1991. At the beginning it was a primary school until the 6th grade and had a kindergarten . Since 1997 it leads to the Abitur .
