Jennifer Victoria Runyon (born April 1, 1960 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American film and television actress .

Live and act

The daughter of the disc jockey and radio announcer Jim Runyon (1931–1973), who died young, had early contact with US showbiz. As soon as she finished school, Jennifer Runyon decided in her late teens to try a career as an actress. The American made her debut in 1979 with the female lead in a typical Schlitzer horror film Brand B, which was filmed in abundance as a result of the great success of John Carpenter's Halloween - The Night of Horror in the USA.

Runyon gained in the following decade with guest roles in popular television series like Magnum , Murder is Her Hobby , Back to the Past and Beverly Hills, 90210, as well as with supporting roles in some (mostly comedic) A-films like Ghostbusters and Finally 18 Again in Hollywood some notoriety. The blonde got main roles in B-movies , including comedies with romantic elements such as The turbo-horny rubber boat and Dance Party .

In 1993 Runyon ended her acting career with the horror film Carnosaurus , married Todd Corman, the coach of a female basketball team, a nephew of Hollywood veteran Roger Corman, and had two children. It wasn't until the mid-2010s that Jennifer Runyon came back in front of the camera - with roles of different sizes in sometimes very cheap and bizarre C-horror films.
