Jens Eriksson (born April 4, 1987 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Eriksson has been participating in FIS cross-country skiing races since 2004. He ran his first race in the World Cup in January 2010 in Otepää , which he finished classically with 25th place over 15 km and was thus able to get his first World Cup points. In January 2011 in Otepää he achieved his best individual World Cup result with tenth place in the sprint. He won bronze three times at the Swedish cross-country skiing championships in 2012. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , he finished 20th in the sprint. He won silver in the sprint at the 2013 Swedish Cross-Country Ski Championships in Falun . In March 2013 he finished third at Årefjällsloppet . He finished the Tour de Ski 2013/14 in 29th place. He finished fourth in the sprint in Oberhof . At the Swedish cross-country skiing championships in 2014, he won gold over 50 km classic and silver in the sprint. He finished the 2013/14 season in 52nd place in the overall World Cup ranking and 33rd in the sprint ranking. At the beginning of January 2017 he finished second at the Vasaloppet China .
