Jens Larsen (born August 22, 1969 in Aalborg ) is a former Danish indoor and beach volleyball player .

Career

Jens Larsen played indoor volleyball in the Bundesliga at SV Bayer Wuppertal in the 1990s , with whom he won two German championships and one DVV cup winner . During this time he occupied top positions in the rankings of German volleyball in the categories of defense, acceptance and attack. In the Danish national team he had 158 appearances. Jens Larsen also played beach volleyball alongside Jesper Hansen , with whom he took part in the 1999 World Cup and in 2000 the European Championship.

Larsen was later a coach, first in Denmark at Marienlyst Odense and from 2005 to 2009 at his former club Bayer Wuppertal .

Today Jens Larsen works as an asset advisor in Wuppertal.
