Jens Wandmacher (* 20th century ) is a German non-fiction author and psychologist .

life and work

Jens Wandmacher received his doctorate in 1970 from the University of Hamburg on the subject of the separation of sensory and judgment processes in size and ratio estimation .

Wandmacher was a professor at the Institute for Psychology at the Technical University of Darmstadt .

He researched and taught in the field of applied cognitive psychology . His work focuses on methodology , perceptual psychology , cognitive psychology, distributed cognition and human-computer interaction . In recent years he has researched in the field of task and activity analysis in human-computer interaction, visualization and the development of computer-aided learning tools .
