Jerzy Borkowski (born August 29, 1957 in Lipnica, Subcarpathian Voivodeship) is a Polish politician of the Ruch Palikota ( Palikot movement ).

After completing his school education, he worked in Będzin for the Mostostal company and did his conscription in the Polish Army . Later he started his own construction company which he ran for five years. In 1989 he received an invitation to set up a wine bottling company in Biłgoraju, today's Ambra SA, where he also met Janusz Palikot . He worked for the company for five years as a partner and commercial director. Then he set up his own business for himself. From 1995 to 2003 he was also a partner and chairman of the board of ETJ sp. z oo, an industrial trading company. Furthermore, from 2001 to 2004 he was managing director of Dąbrowskich Sieci Medialnych DSM sp. z oo, which offered internet and television networks in Dąbrowa Górnicza . On October 2, 2010 Jerzy Borkowski became a member of Nowoczesna Polska ( Modern Poland ) and with the founding of the Ruch Palikota party a member of the same. In the 2011 parliamentary elections , he ran in Sosnowiec constituency 32 and won a seat for the Sejm with 20,292 votes .
