Jerzy Gajek

Jerzy Gajek (born October 3, 1936 in Lemberg ; † April 11, 2017 in Riverhead ) was a Polish pianist and music teacher.

Gajek was a student of Maria Wiłkomirska . He was a concert pianist and taught as a professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City . He was married to the pianist Joanna Gajek . With her he played the world premiere of Roman Palesters Varianti for two pianos in Paris in 1964 .
