Jerzy Szalecki

Jerzy Szalecki (born August 9, 1942 in Poland ) is a Polish weightlifting trainer who worked in Poland, Germany and Austria, where he was also the national trainer of the Austrian Weightlifting Association .

Life

Jerzy Szalecki studied after the agricultural technical school in Kwidzyn , which he graduated with the Matura, from 1962 to 1966 at the Academy for Physical Culture in Poznan . From 1966 he first coached regional clubs in Poland before he was appointed coach of the Polish Weightlifting Association in 1981. After working in Germany, in 1992 he was appointed national trainer of the Austrian Weightlifting Association as well as the Austrian Association for Powerlifting. In 2002 Jerzy Szalecki retired and has lived in Austria ever since.

  • 1966–1971: KSV Nadwislanin Kwizdyn and head coach in the Gdansk district for weightlifting at the Agricultural Association
  • 1972–1984: KSV Olimpia and MRKS . in Elbląg ; Coach of the team for the 1st Bundesliga
  • 1981–1982: Trainer of the Polish Weightlifting Association; looks after all teams, from the youth team to the Olympic team

  • 1990: SV Lüchow , coach of the weightlifting team for the 1st Bundesliga

  • 1992–2002: National trainer of the Austrian Weightlifting Association, main trainer for weightlifting
  • National trainer of the Austrian association for powerlifting, trainer for bench press
  • Trainer in the Tulln district fitness center
  • Trainer of HSV Langenlebarn , weightlifting team in the 1st Bundesliga
