Jesús Murillo Karam
Jesús Murillo Karam (born March 2, 1947 in Real del Monte , Hidalgo ) is a Mexican lawyer and politician .
Political career
Murillo Karam joined the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) in 1970 . He was governor of the state of Hidalgo from 1993 to 1998 and a senator from 2006 to 2012. In December 2012, President Enrique Peña Nieto appointed him the Mexican General Prosecutor ( Procurador General de la República ).
