Jesús Rojas (boxer, 1964)
Jesús "Kiki" Rojas (born January 31, 1964 in Río Caribe , Venezuela ) is a former Venezuelan boxer in the super fly and flyweight .
Professional career
In 1985 he successfully started his professional career. On September 30, 1989 he boxed the flyweight against Fidel Bassa for the world championship title of the WBA association and won by unanimous decision of the judges. However, he lost this belt in his first title defense in March of the following year to Yul-Woo Lee on points.
On December 23, 1998, he was WBA super flyweight world champion when he unanimously won over Satoshi Iida on points. The following year he defended this title against Hideki Todaka with a draw and lost it in a direct rematch to Todaka by unanimous decision.
