Jesper Neergaard
Jesper Neergaard (born in Frederiksberg in 1939 ) is a Danish sculptor and graphic artist .
He grew up in Copenhagen and studied comparative literature there . He has been working as a sculptor since 1974 and is best known for his abstract monumental sculptures - preferably made of marble - which can be found in many European cities, but e.g. B. are also located in America and Japan. In addition to smaller formats, Neergaard also created countless graphics, mostly monochrome . Organic, round shapes dominate his work. Various exhibitions and symposia took place mainly in Europe.
