Jette A. Kaarsbøl (born November 18, 1961 in Hillerød , Denmark ) is a Danish writer .
Life
With the historical novel turned the lukkede which under the German title in 2005 The promise of marriage at Piper Verlag appeared that 42-year-old teacher debuted Jette A. Kaarsbøl 2003 as a writer. For the socially critical novel, which deals with the moral values of the upper middle class of the 19th century, she was awarded both the Læsernes bogpris and the De Gyldne Laurbær . The book has sold over 170,000 copies and has been translated into six languages.
