Yevgeny Ivanovich Paladjew ( Russian Евгений Иванович Паладьев ; born May 12, 1948 in Ust-Kamenogorsk , Kazakh SSR ; † January 9, 2010 in Moscow ) was a Soviet ice hockey player .
Career
Yevgeny Paladjew began his career in 1965 in the Soviet Second League with Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk . In February 1968, the defender moved to the Soviet first division club HK Spartak Moscow , where he played until 1975. He then played one season each with SKA MWO Lipetsk and Torpedo Yaroslavl before ending his active career at the age of 29. In the elite class of the Soviet Union Paladjew completed 212 games in which he scored 25 goals.
Paladjew was called up 68 times in the Soviet national team and won the 1969, 1970 and 1973 world championships, the defender scored nine goals. He also played five games for the Soviet Union during the 1972 Summit Series .
In 1969, Paladiev was named the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR .
