Yevgenia Ivanovna Roppel ( Russian Евгения Ивановна Роппель ; born April 24, 1976 ) is a former Kyrgyz and Russian biathlete .

Yevgenia Roppel attended the children's and youth sports school for cross-country skiing and biathlon in Novosibirsk and was junior world champion in biathlon in 1997. It made its international debut in the adult field in the 1992/93 season after the dissolution of the Soviet Union brought about the new national association of Kyrgyzstan . At the World Cup in Kontiolahti , the Kyrgyz woman came in 74th and last place. At the age of less than 18, Roppel was the only participant in her home country in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer and next to Alexander Tropnikow, who started in 1998 and 2002 , the only participant in Kyrgyzstan in Olympic biathlon competitions until 2010. In Norway she finished 66th in the individual and was 67th in the sprint race. In many statistics she is wrongly listed as Belarusian.
