Jews for Judaism

Jews for Judaism (Eng. Jews for Judaism ) is an international organization that was founded in 1985 by Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz. Its aim is to prevent the conversion of Jews to other religions or to return Jews who have already converted to the Jewish faith. It is the largest anti-mission organization in existence . It offers counseling, education and outreach programs for Jews of all faiths.

The name Jews for Judaism was chosen to correspond to the name Jews for Jesus , one of the most important missionary organizations it is supposed to work against. One of the most famous early members, Larry Levey, was a Jew who converted to Christianity and then returned to Judaism. He later headed the Organization's Baltimore office for several years. In addition to its activities in response to the Christian mission, Jews for Judaism is also known for its critical attacks on the Kabbalah Center .

Be-True

Jews for Judaism established an organization called Be-True for students in response to university missionary activities. It mainly relies on volunteer workers among the students. There are agents in the USA, Canada and Australia.

Discussion forums

Forums run by the organization Jews for Judaism served as a basis for discussion for many Jews, Noachids , practicing and non-practicing Jews and converts. The forms discussed issues of interdenominational marriage and helped with religious issues. The pages were also known for the debates between members and representatives of mostly evangelical Christian churches. In 2007 the forum was closed.

Jews for Judaism temporarily ran a blog.
