Jezreel Corrales
Jezreel Corrales (* 12 July 1991 in San Miguelito , Panama ) is a Panamanian boxer in the super featherweight and southpaw .
Professional career
Corrales won his debut fight in Panama City on February 12, 2009 against Johnatan Calderon on points . At the end of April of the same year, in his second fight, he lost to his compatriot Jhonatan Arenas on points. In April 2012 he boxed against Rolando Giono for the vacant Panamanian championship and won over 8 rounds through a split judge's decision. The direct rematch, which took place the following month, brought the same result.
On April 27, 2016, Corrales became WBA World Champion when he knocked out the previously undefeated Takashi Uchiyama (24-0-1) in Round 2.
