Jiajiang

Jiajiang ( Chinese  夹江 县 , Pinyin Jiājiāng Xiàn ) is a district in the prefecture -level city of Leshan in the Chinese province of Sichuan . It has an area of ​​749 km² and has approx. 350,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Yancheng (漹 城镇).

The Yanggong Towers ( que ) ( Yanggong que杨 公 阙) from the Han to Song dynasties and the Thousand Buddha Rock Caves of Jiajiang ( Jiajiang Qianfo yanshiku夹江 千佛岩 石窟) have been on the list of monuments since 2006 of the People's Republic of China .
