Qianwei ( Chinese 犍为县 , Pinyin Qiánwéi Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Leshan in the Chinese province of Sichuan . It has an area of 1,375 km² and has a population of 570,000. Its main town is the large community of Yujin (玉 津 镇).
The Confucian Temple of Qianwei (Qianwei wenmiao 犍为 文庙) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-714) since 2006 .
