Jian Shuo ( Chinese  寋 碩  /  寋 硕 , Pinyin Jiǎn Shuò ; † 189) was with Zhang Rang the leader of the powerful eunuch faction at the imperial court of Han .

Jian Shuo became a senior member of the Ten Overseers , who were gaining influence at the time. When Emperor Ling died in 189, Jian Shuo wanted to elevate his younger son Liu Xie to emperor and kill He Jin , the half-brother of the Empress mother He and commander in chief of the army. However, the plan was exposed and foiled. After He Jin proclaimed Prince Bian , Emperor Ling's eldest son, to be emperor, he had Jian Shuo arrested and executed. Jian Shuo's troops took over He Jin, who was assassinated by eunuchs on September 22, 189.
