Jiang Qin

Jiang Qin , 蒋钦, Jiǎng Qīn, majority name Gongyi , 公 奕, Gōng Yì, (* 168 ; † 219 ), was a general of the Wu Dynasty at the time of the Three Kingdoms in ancient China.

Little is known about his life from historical sources. In the classic novel The Story of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong , Jiang Qin is portrayed as a pirate who joined Wu King Sun Ce with Gan Ning when he conquered Jiang Dong from Liu Yao (197). Sun Ce trusted Jiang Qin and bestowed many titles on him. After Lü Meng's invasion of Jingzhou, Jiang Qin fell ill and died.
