Geoff Muldaur

The Jim Kweskin Jug Band was formed in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1963 . Members of the youth band were Jim Kweskin (guitar), born July 18, 1940 in Stamford, Connecticut, Geoff Muldaur (guitar, vocals), Bill Keith (banjo), Mel Lyman (harmonica), John "Fritz" Richmond (youth and Barrel bass), Richard Greene (violin) and Maria D'Amato (vocals and kazoo ). After five years, the group broke up.

Maria D'Amato, who married Geoff Muldaur, began a successful solo career as Maria Muldaur . Richard Greene went to the Blues Project , later Seatrain . Kweskin initially worked solo and founded the UI Band in the 1980s . Richmond had success as a producer. Keith formed Woodstock Mountain Revue with Jim Rooney . Lyman created his own sect, which Kweskin also joined.
