Seatrain

Seatrain was an American rock band that was formed in 1969 from the remnants of the Blues Project and lasted until 1974. Seatrain's music was a mix of rock , bluegrass , folk and blues .

The line-up was Andy Kulberg (flute, bass), Roy Blumenfeld (drums), Richard Greene (violin), James T. "Jim" Roberts (vocals), John Gregory (guitar) and Don Kretmar (saxophone, bass) Project recorded his last album, Planned Obsolescence, in Marin County in 1968 . Immediately afterwards the band changed their name to Seatrain .

Seatrain went through some reshuffles. Later members were initially Peter Rowan (vocals, guitar), Lloyd Baskin (vocals, keyboards) and Larry Atamanuk (drums), then Peter Walsh (guitar), Julio Coronado (drums) and Bill Elliot (keyboards).

Seatrain broke up in 1974 due to a lack of commercial success.
