Jimmy Johnson is an American rockabilly singer and guitarist .
Career
Not much is known about Jimmy Johnson. Johnson was a member of Al Casey's Arizona Hayriders in Phoenix , Arizona . He toured the USA with them and recorded as a guitarist. In May 1956 he recorded his only solo record Cat Daddy / How About Me, Pretty Baby? Under the direction of Lee Hazlewood . on. The background band consisted of Al Casey ( guitar ), Forrest Skaggs ( double bass ) and Larry Vanlandinham ( drums ). The records were recorded in Floyd Ramsey's recording studio. After Hazlewood landed a top ten hit with Sanford Clark, however, no further recordings were possible for Johnson. He was still a member of the Arizona Hayriders, but disappeared completely from the music scene in the 1960s.
