Jimmy Van de Velde

Jimmy Van de Velde is a French musician , label founder and DJ . With a French touch , he produces in the genres of electronic dance music house , electro and techno . He also published his music under the stage name DJ Nekbath .

Life

Since the electronic fever in 1995, Jimmy Van de Velde has also grappled with the new dance music. After a year in Brussels he came back to France and started mixing at many underground parties in the south of France. His extraordinary talent is taking over the dance floor. Two years later he set up his own home studio and started his first productions. Since 1998 he has published under the pseudonym DJ Nekbath on record labels such as Black Jack , Riviera, Confidential, Zodiac or Grand Prix French House and Disco House. In 1999 he teamed up with Sébastien Léger and jointly founded the Last Resort Production project with two new labels: Cyclik, with a French House character and Subkroniq in the style of Tech House and Electro House, on which they themselves initially published their productions. Jimmy Van de Velde wants to further enrich electronic culture with his sound and in 2001 signs a contract with Fafa Monteco's Parisian label Hypnotic. This is followed by remixes for artists such as Kiko, Sébastien Léger, Ron Carroll, Nicholas and others on the labels Subliminal, Defected, 20000st and Chicayork. During this time, the Bits Music label from Last Resort Production was created in 2003 and is marketed worldwide. In 2004 Jimmy returned to Brussels, where he lived as Jimmy Van de Velde. Today this DJ and his productions are a pillar of the electronic movement.
