Jin Mindi
Jin Mindi (晉 愍 帝, Sima Ye) was Emperor of China from 313 to 316. He was a grandson of Emperor Jin Wudi of the Jin Dynasty . Emperor Jin Huaidi was captured by Xion Gnu ruler Liu Cong in the fall of Luoyang in 311 and murdered two years later. Huaidi's successor was then Mindi. However, Jin Mindi had to surrender in 316 when Liu Cong's general Liu Yao also took the western capital of Chang'an . The emperor was publicly humiliated and later killed on Liu Cong's orders.
