Jinnak Bolon

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jinnak Bolon (also spelled Jinnack , Djinak or Ginak ) is a bolon in the Senegalese region of Fatick north of Jinack Island . In neighboring Gambia it is called Jinnak Creek .

The mouth (estuary, also estuary ) of the Gambia is about 20 kilometers wide from this point, the Buniada Point , to Cape St. Mary in Gambia , the largest estuary in Africa . Through the mangrove forest in front of the island of St. Mary's Island , the Tanbi Wetland Complex , the river estuary visually narrows to only 4.8 kilometers.
