Joachim Baldauf

Joachim Baldauf (born July 20, 1965 in Weiler im Allgäu ) is a German fashion photographer and publisher . He lives in Berlin .

biography

Baldauf completed a diploma in textile design from 1984 to 1987 at the Otto-Johannsen-Technikum in Reutlingen . From 1989 to 1998 Baldauf worked as a graphic designer and art director for various magazines and companies. In 1992 he co-founded a communication agency for magazines. In 1998 Baldauf started his own business as a freelance photographer; He focused on international magazines and advertising campaigns. Between 1999 and 2002 he was responsible for numerous editorials and covers for the London magazine Wallpaper .

Since 2004 he has been running Printkultur Verlag together with graphic designer Agnes Feckl, in which he publishes the art magazine Vorn und Bücher. Baldauf teaches at the HFK Bremen in the field of art and design and in the communication design course at the HTW Berlin .
