Joachim Blank (* 1963 in Aachen ) is a German artist and university professor.

life and work

Joachim Blank trained as a photographer at the Letteschule in Berlin from 1985 to 1986 . He studied at the Free University from 1988 to 1996 . Joachim Blank has been teaching at the University of Leipzig since 1995 and was appointed professor at the University of Graphic and Book Art in Leipzig in 2003. From 2003 to 2006 Blank was Vice Rector for University Development there . Joachim Blank has been honored with numerous awards and exhibits internationally.
