Joachim Braun (veterinarian)

Joachim Braun (born June 18, 1951 ) is a German veterinarian and university professor .

Life

Joachim Braun completed a degree in veterinary medicine at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, which he completed with a doctorate in 1978 . In 1990 the habilitation followed with the topic Reproduction in Domestic Animals . In 1991 Braun was given a teaching position as a visiting lecturer at the Royal Veterinary College in London , and in 1993 a position as a visiting associate professor at the Obihiro University of Agriculture in Japan . In 1998 he followed a call from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and took on a teaching position for biotechnology in reproductive medicine. From 2005 to 2007 Braun was Vice Dean and since 2007 he has been Dean of the Veterinary Faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich.
