Joachim Grauenhorst
Joachim Grauenhorst (born August 26, 1917 in Oschersleben ; † July 13, 1998 in Soltau ) was a German journalist and painter.
Career
Grauenhorst initially trained in agriculture and did military service in the cavalry during the Second World War. After the end of the war he worked as a haulage contractor and came to the Böhme-Zeitung in 1949 , which he managed until 1977.
He also emerged as a painter. His oil paintings and watercolors mainly show landscapes of the Lüneburg Heath . He also illustrated publications of the Heimatbund of the district of Soltau, so z. B. Löppt de Tiet's collection of poems As en Born by Ewald Hillermann .
