Joachim Grupp
Joachim Grupp (* 1959 ) is a German karate trainer and author. He is 6th dan in Shotokan karate .
Grupp has been practicing karate since 1976. He is a multiple Berlin master, A-trainer of the German Karate Association and chairman of the Shotokan Karate Berlin eV association, which he co-founded. In 2015, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his association, he was awarded the BKV Gold Medal of the Berlin Karate Association eV. He is also the author of four textbooks on Shotokan karate, which have also been translated into English.
