Joachim Merk (economist)

Joachim Merk (born June 29, 1976 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) is a German economist and professor of business administration at the SRH Fernhochschule .

Life

After studying business administration at the University of Mannheim with a focus on public and nonprofit management, human resource management, corporate taxation and tax law and his diploma thesis entitled "Member marketing using the example of the acquisition of small and medium-sized enterprises", he also received his doctorate at the University of Mannheim in 2007 Peter Eichhorn at the Chair of Business Administration, Public & Nonprofit Management at the University of Mannheim. Since 2007 he has also been the managing director of the OPINIO Forschungsinstitut GbR, Mannheim.

In 2011, Merk became professor at the SRH Fernhochschule - The Mobile University and head of the course in business psychology as well as prevention and health psychology, and in 2014 he was vice-rector for teaching.
