Joachim Raabe

Joachim Raabe (* 1974 in Haiger ) is a German church musician , composer of sacred works and new sacred songs .

Life

Raabe studied church music at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold from 1997 to 2002 , was a full-time church musician at the parish of St. Peter and Paul in Villmar from 2002 to 2004 and headed the youth band “Tonspuren” in the Villmar parish. From 2005 to 2012 Raabe was a church musician at St. Bonifatius in Wirges , but still lives in Haiger. In addition, until 2013 he was the managing director of the working group "Church music and youth pastoral care in the Diocese of Limburg ".

Joachim Raabe has been a member of the ecumenical association “ inTAKT ” for the promotion of the New Spiritual Song, art, culture and education since 2013 . Joachim Raabe leads training courses and composes new songs for the association.

Several of his compositions have found their way to Gotteslob (Limburg regional part).

He works as a teacher for music and ethics at the Johanneum Gymnasium in Herborn.
