Joachim Schrey

Joachim Schrey (* 1961) is a German lawyer , legal author and honorary professor specializing in data protection law and IT compliance, and a specialist lawyer for information technology law .

Life

Schrey studied law at the University of Mannheim from 1981 to 1986 . The media lawyer received his doctorate in 1989 with the topic of competition law problems with screen text. In 1990 he passed his second state examination and became an employee of the Frankfurt law firm Clifford Chance , their partner in 1995 .

Today he is honorary professor in the field of business informatics and information management at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and partner of the law firm Noerr LLP in Frankfurt am Main. He is a member of the information technology law specialist committee of the Frankfurt am Main Bar Association , speaker at the German Lawyers' Academy and at the "Institute for Information Systems " in Frankfurt. He is a member of the supervisory board of insurance companies and the author or co-author of numerous articles in specialist books and journals.
