Joachim von Richthofen II.
Joachim von Richthofen II. († 1981 in Düsseldorf ) was a German master aeronautical engineer.
Life
He graduated from the Technical University of Berlin with a degree in engineering. In March 1936 he passed the flight engineer examination, which included activities at the Air Force testing center, activities in industry and flight training. He belonged to the Condor Legion . In a secret classified report of 28 May 1937, he reported on several attacked by the Legion Condor cities in terms of the effect of German bombs. The officer analyzed the bombing effect of German, Spanish and Italian types and gave detailed advice in his reports on how a Spanish town could most effectively be destroyed.
Around 1949 he worked in Esslingen am Neckar in an industrial connection a . a. with the Porsche 356 No. 1 Roadster .
