Joanna Connor

Joanna Connor (born August 31, 1962 in Brooklyn , New York ) is an American blues musician (vocals, guitar).

Connor has been a representative of the Chicago blues since the early 1980s . She played with many well-known blues musicians, including James Cotton , Junior Wells and Luther Allison . In 1987 she founded her own band, with which she recorded her first own record in 1989. Joanna Connor performs regularly at the Kingston Mines blues club in Chicago .
