Joaquín Piñeros Corpas

Joaquín Piñeros Corpas (born May 28, 1915 in Soacha , † August 31, 1982 in Bogotá ) was a Colombian writer and politician.

Piñeros Corpas emerged as the author of dramas, short stories and writings on the cultural history of Colombia. He was a member of the Academia de Historia de Cundinamarca , the Academia Colombiana de la Historia and the Academia Colombiana de la Lengua . From 1969 to 1970 he was governor of the province of Cundinamarca .
