A job blog or career blog is a variant of the weblog . He deals with social as well as practical aspects of the professional and working world. In common parlance, the term job blog has established itself due to its brevity; other terms are career, personal or HR blog, depending on the thematic focus.
Job blogs highlight current developments in the labor market such as the shortage of skilled workers , offer practical information on career choices and applications, or discuss social changes, such as the automation of work processes , digitization , new work, or discrimination and equal opportunities .
