Jochen Deuse

Jochen Deuse (* 1967 in Dortmund ) is professor for work and production systems at the Technical University of Dortmund .

Life

From 1988 to 1994 Deuse studied mechanical engineering with a specialization in technical management at the University of Dortmund . After graduation, he worked as a research assistant at the Department of Production Engineering at the Laboratory for Machine Tools of the RWTH Aachen . In 1998 he did his doctorate on the subject of manufacturing family formation with feature-based product model data .

After completing his doctorate , Deuse switched to Robert Bosch GmbH , where he worked as a project manager for work planning for the Reutlingen control unit plant until 2000 . From 2000 to 2002 he was a scientific assistant to the Head of Production and Quality Management in the Automotive Electronics division . After that, Deuse was head of the power diode division and at the same time project manager for "Bosch Production Systems" at " Robert Bosch Australia " in Melbourne .

On April 1, 2005 Deuse became the holder of the former chair for production preparation at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Dortmund , which has since been renamed the chair for work and production systems. He is also the faculty spokesman.
