Joe Bailey

Joe Bailey (born May 27, 1961 ) is an American archer.

After a car accident in 1989, Bailey began archery for rehabilitation purposes. In 2002 he was invited to the US team's Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista , California . This experience spurred him on very much. In 2003, Bailey won a gold medal in the team championship at the IPC Archery World Championships in Madrid , Spain . In 2006 he was USA Archery Paralympian of the Year .

In 2008 in Beijing , Bailey first took part in the Summer Paralympics .
