Johan Niemann

Johan Niemann (born June 26, 1977 ) is a Swedish musician . Today he is active with the bands Evergrey , The Murder of My Sweet , Mind's Eye and Crash the System and played with the Swedish metal band Therion .
Career
On the advice of his music teacher, Niemann learned to play the bass guitar at the age of eleven . In high school he studied improvisation and jazz theory with the guitarist Johan Öijen. He later studied at the Stockholm music conservatory for sound engineering and music production . In 1999 he played with his brother Kristian at Therion . He plays with his brother and Ricky Evensand ( Soilwork ) in the band Demonoid . Since 2007 Niemann has also played in The Murder of My Sweet and Crash the System, and since 2010 in the progressive metal band Evergrey .
