Johann Baptist Häner

Johann Baptist Häner (born August 8, 1818 in Arlesheim ; † April 24, 1885 there ) was a Swiss politician .

Life

Häner was a businessman and district clerk in the Arlesheim district . He was considered a supporter and fellow campaigner of Christoph Rolle and contributed to the victory of the democratic movement and was elected to the government with Rolle and three other Revi in May 1863 . This was voted out of office in 1866.

Häner worked as chief judge from 1866 ; in the years 1866/1867 and 1867/1868 he was also president.
