Renato Cenni
Giulio Renato Cenni (born March 26, 1906 in Florence , † 1977 in Genoa ) was an Italian painter , caricaturist and documentary film director .
Life
Cenni studied at the Academy in Genoa. His first works were posters and other commissioned works before he lived in Paris from 1937 to 1943. He then spent additional years in various countries including France, the United States and parts of Africa. His painting is influenced by post-impressionism . In 1956, Cenni shot the documentary Il ponte dell'universo in Panama . Further trips to Paris, Moscow and New York followed.
