Johann Baptist de Wendt
Johann Baptist Freiherr de Wendt was city commandant of Munich in 1705 .
After the occupation of the Munich Rent Office by troops of Emperor Joseph I, the imperial infantry colonel de Wendt became city commander of Munich and thus played a major role in the suppression of the Bavarian popular uprising ( Sendlinger Murder Christmas ).
