Johann Bartl (born February 3, 1977 ) is a former Austrian football player and now coach .

Career

As a player

Bartl started his career at TuS St. Peter / Ottersbach . For the 1992/93 season he moved to the youth team at SV Flavia Solva . For the 1994/95 season he returned to St. Peter. For the 1995/96 season he joined the AC Linden Leibnitz . After half a year at Linden Leibnitz, he moved a second time to the second division Flavia Solva in January 1996. He made his debut in the 2nd Division in March 1996 when he was substituted on for Edo Milošević on the 19th match day of the 1995/96 season against WSG Wattens in the 63rd minute . By the end of the season he made eleven second division appearances. In the 1996/97 season, Bartl made 22 appearances in the second highest division. With Flavia Solva, he was relegated from the second division at the end of the season. In the following season he rose with the bankrupt club from the regional league . Despite the descent in the lower divisions, Bartl remained loyal to the club until the winter break of the 2001/02 season.

In January 2002 he joined TuS Kirchbach . After half a year with Kirchbach, he returned to Flavia Solva for the 2002/03 season. For the 2003/04 season Bartl moved to TuS St. Peter / Ottersbach, where he had once started his career. For the 2004/05 season he moved to SV Tillmitsch . At Tillmitsch he also briefly acted as a player's coach in 2007. During the winter break of the 2007/08 season he moved to the eight-class SV Heimschuh . With Heimschuh he rose to the end of the season in the regional league . In 2010 he was with the club also champions in the regional league West and rose to the lower league with Heimschuh . In three and a half seasons at Heimschuh he made 84 appearances in the sixth, seventh and eighth highest division. After the 2010/11 season, he left the club.

After about six months without a club, in which he was registered with SV Flavia Solva, he moved to AC Linden Leibnitz a second time in January 2012. For Leibnitz he came to ten games in the minor league before ending his active career after the 2011/12 season.

As a trainer

After he had already been player-coach at Tillmitsch in 2007, he became youth coach at SVL Flavia Solva in March 2012 . For the 2015/16 season, he was also the coach of Flavia Solva's seventh-class first team. In May 2017 he left Flavia Solva after more than five years and became the coach of the sixth class SU Tillmitsch .
