Johann Bidembach

Johann Bidembach (* around 1500 in Hesse ; † 1553 ; also Johann Bidenbach ) was a German official cellar and reformer .

Life

Johann Bidembach, who was born around 1500, is the first known member of the Bidenbach family . His father, whose name is not known, was born around 1470 and married Margarete Wirtemberger (* around 1470), who was the granddaughter of Ludwig I (* 1412; † 1450). Johann Bidembach, who had studied at the University of Tübingen since February 16, 1540, went with Duke Ulrich von Württemberg from Hesse to Württemberg in 1534 , in order to later become Vogt in Brackenheim . As such, he led the Reformationin Württemberg. He also worked as an official cellar. Before 1528, Bidembach had married Elisabeth von Petershain, who was born around 1500 and died after 1553. The marriage had three children who became theologians: Balthasar Bidembach , Eberhard Bidembach and Wilhelm Bidembach . The latter had a son, Felix Bidembach , who also gained fame as a theologian. Johann Bidembach died in 1553.
