Johann David Heinrich Bracht

Johann David Heinrich Bracht (* around 1752; † after 1811) was a German local lawyer. He was Lord Mayor of Szczecin from 1804 to 1809 .

Bracht was the pastor's son in Mandelkow near Stettin. From 1772 he studied law at the University of Halle . In 1775 he became a trainee lawyer with the government in Szczecin.

In 1779 he was councilor ("Senator") of the city of Stettin and in 1797 mayor of the police. As the successor to Johann Samuel Müller , he became the municipal district administrator and mayor of Szczecin in 1804 . He remained in office until 1809; the previous mayor Johann Ludwig Kirstein became his successor.

In 1811 Bracht became a judicial commissioner and notary at the Szczecin City Court.
